I don’t belong here, I said to myself
I swallowed. They grinned.
I shifted my weight. They laughed.
I opened my mouth to speak. He interrupted.
I coughed. She shushed.
“Thanks for coming!" he said warmly. "See you next time?”
I blinked, surprised.
“Yeah, I’d like that.”

oooh...I felt that ✨💖
There’s something quietly hopeful in the ending. Despite all the discomfort and doubt, the speaker still says yes to coming back. That small step feels bigger than it looks, like choosing to try again even when it’s hard.
Clever take on the challenge… glad ‘you’re’ going back for another shot.
